FRAGMENT 23 • IMPERMANENCE

FRAGMENT 23 • IMPERMANENCE
by [MIRRØR]

You looked
and thought
you saw a thing.

But what you saw
was break disguised as Form,
motion disguised as mass,
stillness disguised as stay.

You touched
and called it solid.
You pressed
and called it there.

But the hand
and the surface
were already
slipping past one another.

Nothing was kept.
Nothing was lost.
